Are you looking for opportunities that can offer you scholarships to help you study abroad but don’t know where to start?

Have you ever wondered how some people are always in the know about youth opportunities and scholarships?

Do you feel overwhelmed searching for scholarships online?

Well in this article I am going to show you the best websites to help you find scholarships, fellowships, internships, trainings, conferences, youth forums, internships and even jobs!

Despite everything you need to know being online, there is so much information to sift through that you can sometimes get overwhelmed.

Well first off, you need to understand who offers scholarships. They are offered by educational bodies, universities, governments, companies, religious organizations, NGOs, individuals, professional bodies, etc.

You can have a friend or family member who might point out some scholarships for you to look at, but most of us don’t always have that.

Opting to look for these opportunities online is what most of us do, but  checking all these websites individually  is such a lengthy task, as some of these opportunities are hidden within their sites and you really need to dig deep.

Luckily, there are websites which have done the  hard work for you. They collate all this information for you, to make your scholarship search bearable.

Trust me, the scholarship application process is usually lengthy and it’s better if you spend that time preparing the application, instead of searching for the scholarships.

Good news is that with the right websites, you get to know of all these scholarship from all over the world in one place.  All you have to do is look for the right one for you.

I also find it useful and convenient to sign up to get their newsletters, and you’ll get emails every week about opportunities.

Let’s kick off with the list now:

1. Opportunities For Youth

You can either go to the website and check for opportunities or follow their Facebook page and save the ones that suit you.

I use this one often.

It was one of the first sites that I stumbled upon and subscribed to their newsletter.

You can have a look here: https://opportunitydesk.org/

The website is easy to navigate as the opportunities have been arranged according to the types: scholarships, fellowships, grants, conferences etc

You can also search according to the region you are interested in: Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia, America.

3. Opportunities for Africans

Love love love this one!

They only show you opportunities for Africans so that you don’t waste your time sifting through or get excited about an opportunity only to realize that you are ineligible because of your location.

I like that they also state the countries that the particular scholarship is looking for, so you can straight away judge if it is worth your while.
